FWC Flooring, formerly known as Fort Worth Carpet Company, has been proudly serving the Tarrant County Metroplex since 1951. In 1955, James Ward started working here as an installer, and like so many American dream stories, went on to buy the company in the late 70’s. Later, in 1988, James’ daughter Sharon came to work for the family business, and his wife Glenda brought her expertise to the table in 1990. Now after 65 years they are passing the torch to the next generation. Their daughter Sandra and her husband Jon Godby have taken over the reins and are excited to see the company move into the next phase of its life.
